"My hunt for job continues"

Day-2: 25/08/2011

The day started so wonderfully with a cup of boost drink, it did really boost me. After so many days of blue and dark skies today I happened to see orange skies, "The sun rise". It was so beautiful and so was my day too.

My early plan was to hit the library and look through the newspapers and find job opportunities. But as i told earlier I never get up so early and hence ended up in getting severe cold followed by headache. 

 Where there's a will there's a way. After all i just have 44 days remaining, so I got my own newspaper from a near by 7/11 and started my search. I made 18 calls to the respected advertisements, said that I posted my CV, told about my qualification.

I was never even qualified even as a sales person because im not a PR and Singaporean. The proverb changed, 'there is a way but always obstacles on the way'. Then had to go back to 3 job websites that iI\registered and applied for few more jobs. That it for today folks,see you all tomorrow. 

Day 1 of job search in Singapore

DAY-1: (24/08/2011)
At last I have entered into blogosphere. Its quite a new way to search a job. I want everyone to know how I search a job in Singapore. I might succeed or fail but trying does not cost me. Getting a job in Singapore is like Giving rebirth to myself. So here I am sharing my views related to my job quest."The longer the title, the less important the job". So let me brief about myself.

I'm Arjun completed my MBA in James Cook University Singapore. I did my UG( Bachelors of Electronic & communication Engineering). Day 1-I registered in all job websites and added myself to yahoo & google groups. Will keep refreshing my resume daily from now and make it more attractive and catchy, After all job search is how well we present, decorate& sell our resumes(accordance to marketing concepts). To hit the library every 3rd day and to make sure I capitalize on all the job opportunities.

 I hope and wish to get a job within this 45 days of experimentation. Keep tracking me guys and girls. Who knows one day I may recruit 45 fresh students in my company. So watch out for me. If you like this blog, why dont you tell your friends about it? :p
